Interning can lead to the next step in choosing a career
Don’t settle for internship experiences that aren’t relevant to your future. A Thompson Thrift internship places you in a team of professionals that will help you lead, learn, and grow.
Thanks to our continued growth, internships at Thompson Thrift are available in a variety of geographical areas based on your interest and our site locations. We have opportunities in a variety of areas in the business environment—construction, development, finance, human resources, accounting, legal, leasing, marketing, and more.
The Right Fit
Why intern with us?
Interning gives you an opportunity to put your skills to work and be a part of an environment of growing and learning. Thompson Thrift believes in rewarding their interns. We offer competitive hourly compensation, welcome new ideas and encourage our interns to challenge our way of thinking.
The Program
What is The Stadlership?
The Stadlership is a Thompson Thrift Internship Experience dedicated to Henry Stadler, late SVP and COO of Thompson Thrift Construction.
One of Henry’s most enduring legacies is his commitment to nurturing and mentoring young talent. He believed in the power of mentorship to shape future leaders and invested his time and energy into fostering the growth and development of those just starting their journey in the construction and development field.

Our Core Values
How Stadlership Interns Live the Core
Excellence
At the end of the summer, Stadlership participants attend a Graduation. The event features presentations by the interns, highlighting their work and the valuable experiences gained throughout the summer. It is a day of reflection and celebration, underscoring each participant's growth and contributions. The event also includes the awarding of the Stadlership Scholarships to standout interns.
Service
Stadlership participants get the opportunity to serve our communities at our Intern Serve Day. Interns have previously served our community service partners: Heart Change in Indianapolis and Next Step in Terre Haute.
Leadership
Stadlership participants have the opportunity to interact directly with executive leadership. Each year, interns participate in Executive Roundtables, where they can introduce themselves and engage in insightful discussions with leaders.
