Heart Change Open House

On Friday, May 10, Heart Change celebrated the unveiling of two duplexes (four 3-bedroom units), which will house families in the Heart Change community, and a new facility to be utilized for additional childcare space and Heart Change social enterprises, including the production of Heartfelt Soaps.
The Heart Change Open House welcomed guests from the community, including leaders, TTC vendor partners, volunteers, Thompson Thrift team members, and Heart Change members. The event featured tours of the duplexes and the new facility, showcasing the positive impact on the community.
These projects were made possible by funding from the Thompson Thrift Foundation, construction management and leadership from multiple Thompson Thrift team members including overall management by Cody Turner and Derick Davidson, and over $90,000 worth of material donations from many vendor partners: Timberland Home Center, Lee Supply Corporation, Citizens Energy Group, Majestic Stone Imports, Value Lighting, Whirlpool Corporation, Integrated Construction Inc., Drexel Interiors, Saco Industries, and Twisted Journey Photography by Jacob Davidson.
Two videos have been created by external parties to show the construction process and positive impact Thompson Thrift has made in the Heart Change community.
