Thompson Thrift 2024 Annual Meeting

Thank you to our team members for a successful 2024 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, February 6, with a theme of the Power of Effective Communication! From incredible guest speakers to a powerful TT Serve panel with our Community Service Partners, raffle drawings, and team member networking, the event was an interactive, informative, and celebratory day for our team members.
During the 2024 Annual Meeting, team members explored the TT Exchange, which was comprised of two zones: the Results Zone, a space to explore the results of our team members' hard work and dedication, and the Impact Zone, a space to learn more about our community and benefit partners' positive impact on our team members and the communities we serve. Team members also heard from multiple external speakers throughout the day who gave insights on the current market with a Q&A session, communication, predictive index (PI), and more.
TT Serve, the community impact arm of Thompson Thrift, hosted a panel session with Keith Carlson (Thompson Thrift), Dana Simons (Next Step), Cindy Palmer (Heart Change), and Brian Copes (Skilled Knowledgeable Youth (SKY)). During the panel, the group discussed their organizations' missions, recent wins and challenges, and how Thompson Thrift has positively impacted them. After the session, two team members were drawn to donate $250 to an organization of their choice. Becky chose to apply hers to the Miriam Movement to further support her team members in need, and Lily chose to donate hers to the Michiana Humane Society to care for animals.
The day concluded with an introduction of our plan for communication improvement so team members can continue to grow and learn. Each team member selected one communication skill to focus on improving throughout 2024, and they will be given a personalized plan to help achieve that goal.
