Thompson Thrift is currently developing a mixed-use project that will feature luxury apartment homes and 36,000 square feet of retail on the site.
The site is located on Dove Valley Road at the I-17 interchange, which will serve as the main entrance into the $12 billion Taiwan Semiconductor Plant (“TSMC”) currently under construction. When complete TSMC will employ 1,600 people. The I-17 corridor is a financial services hub with over 12,500 employed by USAA, Discover, American Express, Cigna, Farmer Insurance, Wells Fargo, and Chubb Insurance within eight miles of the site.
The site is located less than five miles north of the Shops at Norterra, an upscale north Phoenix lifestyle center with 354,000 square feet of specialty retailers, restaurant, and large national tenants including Walmart, TJ Maxx/HomeGoods, Dicks Sporting Goods, Best Buy, PetSmart, World Market, Barnes & Noble, Lowes, and a 14- screen Harkins theater.
